  • Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association

  • USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach Level 1 Certified

 

Experience

  • 9 year of strength & conditioning experience with 7 years at the collegiate level

  • Works with nearly 200 youth athletes & adults with various fitness levels in Knoxville & surrounding areas

 

Collegiate Experience

  • Intern/Volunteer at Wake Forest University, the University of Tennessee & Florida State University

  • Assistant Strength Coach at Georgia State University

  • Head Strength Coach at Shorter University

  • Experience training & programming Football, Basketball, Track, Soccer, Volleyball, Golf, Tennis, Lacrosse, Wrestling, Softball, Baseball, 7 Cheerleading athletes at youth and collegiate level

  • Was Graduate Teaching Assistant with the Lifetime Activities Program at Florida State University

  • Staff assistant for Florida State University's football team while completing master's degree

  • Played Collegiate football at Florida State University

 

Other Experience/Training

  • Currently an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Tennessee: Teaching KNS 440 Strength and Conditioning Programs to Junior/Senior Level Students in the Department of Kinesiology; teaching various Sports Performance and training strategies catered to the needs of various athletic and non-athletic populations

  • Regularly attend various strength and conditioning conferences/clinics to stay up to date with sports performance research and training in the field.
